Refund Policy
How refunds are handled for purchases of Rimu Systems software.
Rimu Systems LLC ("we", "us", or "our") sells software products including RimuSDR, RimuDAX, and RimuCAT through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. This policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases made through our store.
1. General Refund Terms
We want you to have a smooth experience with our software. Because our products include license activation and downloadable components, refunds are handled under the following conditions:
- Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase.
- Refunds are only available if the license has not been activated.
- Once a license has been activated, the purchase is generally non-refundable.
If you experience a technical issue, we encourage you to contact us. Most issues can be resolved quickly.
2. Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record
All payments, billing, and refund transactions are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record.
As part of fraud prevention and chargeback mitigation processes, Lemon Squeezy may issue refunds at their discretion within 60 days of purchase, even if this differs from our standard policy. This is a platform-wide requirement and applies to all sellers using Lemon Squeezy.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not provided in the following cases:
- The license has already been activated.
- The software was purchased in error but activation has occurred.
- The customer expected features not listed on our website.
- The customer's system does not meet the published system requirements.
- The customer changed their mind after activation.
We encourage customers to review the product details and system requirements before purchasing.
4. Technical Issues
If you encounter a technical problem, contact us at support@rimusystems.com and include your order email, call sign (if applicable), and a description of the issue.
Most issues can be resolved quickly through configuration assistance or updates.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund (within the allowed window and before activation), email support@rimusystems.com and include:
- Your order email
- Your order ID (from Lemon Squeezy)
- Your call sign (if applicable)
- A brief explanation of the request
We will review your request and coordinate with Lemon Squeezy as needed.
